July 1 to August 31: daily 9:00 to 18:00 (last admission 17:00)
September 1 to October 24: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00 –18:00 (last admission 17:00)
October 25 to November 8: Tuesday to Sunday 9:00–17:00 (last admission 16:00)
Special hours: Whit Monday (June 1, National Holiday (October 26)

Guided tours

Groups up to 30 people EUR 70.00 (each additional person EUR 2.00, max. 35 persons)
Guided tours for schools EUR 3.00 per child (assuming a minimum of EUR 45.00).

Post Bus 180 Timetable

Monday to Friday hourly, weekends and holidays every 2 hours. Bus line 180 (Salzburg – Bad Reichenhall) leaves from the Salzburg train station and takes you right to the bus stop at the Open - Air Museum (starting at 8:35 am at the Salzburg train station and at 8:33 at the Bad Reichenhall train station)

General information

The use of the heritage railway is included in the entrance fee. Visitors with reduced mobility may use an electro-scooter free of charge. Dogs are permitted if on a leash; inside the heritage railway a muzzle is obligatory. Optional handcart/pushcart rental.
